Who Pays the Mediator Lawyer Fee?
Who pays the mediator lawyer fee is stated in Article 18\A-13 of the HUAK numbered 6325. This fee is a judgement expense. If a result cannot be reached from the mediation service received, the litigation-payment is covered from the budget of the Ministry of Justice.
What is required to be a mediator?
– To be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey
– To have a law faculty diploma
– Not being convicted of an offence
– At least 5 years of career experience after graduation
– To complete the mediation training subject to the fulfilment of the criteria
After the successful completion of the training, he/she will be registered as a mediator in the registry of the Ministry of Justice.
